Contact and Support It's not the best value set at 11.9c per part (is that the Hasbro tax?) but if you can get it $20+ cheaper than there's few reasons not to have a punt on it.Entertainment News International (ENI) is the #1 popular culture network for adult fans all around the world. I think most Transformers fans are likely to want to display Prime in Robot mode rather than Truck mode. They are up as much as can be, the gap is caused by give in the arm joint parts.īut I have no intention of displaying it in truck mode so my criticisms are moot, a thought process I'd guess the LEGO design team went through too. I have seen photos of this set from other builders and they don't seem to have this issue though so I'm not sure what happened here. I even had ugly gaps on the sides where the arms didn't sit quite nicely enough. It's going to look far too small on display next to other Icon screen vehicles like the DeLorean or the Ecto-1. Like I said above though, in truck mode it's less successful. I think the final robot model of Prime looks incredibly accurate to his G1 appearance and I'm blown away how similar they were able to get the transformation sequence to the actual toy. I've built quite a few mech sets now and I can confidently say this offers enough of a new experience to keep me engaged throughout.
